Internet on my blackjack 2 won't turn on...help?

So I push the Media Net on and an error message on my phone says "The remote party has ended this connection." Supposedly its something to do with a connection error. But I can turn the internet on if I send out a Multimedia msg so I send myself one. Anyway, my question is, does anyone know what could be wrong and what I can do?
