Why are Bauhaus, The Chameleons and Marion so underrated?

Personally, I find Bauhaus and the Chameleons to be dark, brooding, and for some people, unfriendly. I enjoy the darkness, though. Nice to see someone appreciating the Chameleons U.K. You don't hear them mentioned all that often. Of the three you mentioned, I could only foresee Bauhaus as being the only one with a shot of entering the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, if only for the exposure that they got from the first minutes of "The Hunger".
