Will I be able to sing even a B guitar even though my voice is very high?

I've got a problem. I really want to learn either b guitar(but I will learn guitar if I have to) but still be able to sing too. The issue is that I'm a very high soprano so I don't know if my voice is compatible with the sound of a b guitar. So should I learn to play b guitar or normal guitar? By the way, something that might help is that the style of music I play already is like a MCR kind of style, the best band of all time.
